I wanted to rebuild this. I really did.
Now each object has its own coordinates, there are no global variables to speak of, and collision detection is perfect and can be changed easily. Landing on buildings is possible, but I’ve tried to make it possible to take off, and it hates me or something. ANYway, I use Game Maker 7 pro, so the file is a gmk, not a gm6
Please try the original, it’s really something. It has a whole bunch of features, like on flight recording, lateral balloon popping, purposeful rocketing into the ground at 500 mph, you get the picture. It’s fun.
Creating a new building with a new height is as easy as duplicating the object, renaming it, and setting its z variable.
The game automatically draws itself, sets the textures to look even on the plane, and also draws its x and y variables to the sprite the building is placed with.
The 3d is made by d3d.
The song is from the game Half Life 2, made by the company Valve.
The program that created the game is Game Maker 7, created by Mark Overmars and Yoyogames.

13d buildings are easy if I remember correctly.
You must define the z variable yourself in the create event.
d3d_draw_block(x,y,0,x+ sprite_width,y+sprite_height,z ,background_get_texture(nameof tex),1,1)
That should do it if I remember right. You also must define the texture in the nameoftex… The two ones at the end are the hrepeats and vrepeats (how many repeats on the texture are shown on face).
Read the help file - it helps!(no duh)
